Indraprastha Jump Rope Association (IJRA) is a Section 8 company registered under the Companies Act, 2013, headquartered in Delhi. We are India's dedicated non-profit sports body for Jump Rope / Rope Skipping — covering everyone from beginners to national champions, from grassroots training to international podiums.
With operations spanning 28+ states and Union Territories, IJRA is the sole recognised governing body driving structured competition, certified coaching and athletic excellence in this explosive sport.
To make India a global leader in Jump Rope — building a disciplined community of athletes who compete and win at the highest international levels under the IJRA flag.
To promote, regulate and develop Jump Rope across India; organise competitive events; certify coaches and judges; and represent India on the world stage with pride.
Organize, conduct and supervise tournaments, championships, coaching camps, workshops, seminars and training programs related to Jump Rope / Rope Skipping.
Select and prepare athletes, coaches, judges and officials to represent India at international events and world championships.
Facilitate long-term coaching by renowned coaches. Nurturing and mentoring athletes to participate in national and international competitive events.
Promote sports and culture with media campaigns, documentaries and outreach programs that inspire the nation.
Sports for improvement of health among youth, ladies and children — organizing tournaments at national and international levels.
Promote, develop, regulate and govern Jump Rope in India at all levels — ensuring fair play, structured competition and transparency.
